Scott Michael Knowles

Scott Michael Knowles, 61, of Alburgh, VT passed away peacefully May 8, 2025, surrounded by his family and loved ones after a long battle with cancer. He was born November 3, 1963, in Barre, VT, son of Winston and Rosalie(Clark) Knowles. Scott's dad had predeceased him.

Scott leaves behind four grandchildren, Matt, Evan, Rian and Sammy, his two daughters, Ashley Knowles and fiancé Silas Harris of Georgia, VT, and Amy Gustaveson and husband Rob of Wells River, VT, four brothers and sisters, Rick Knowles of Barre, VT, Lisa Lajoie and husband Mike of Barre, VT, Steve Knowles and partner Carol Perkins of Barnard, VT, and Lori Knowles of Orlando, FL, along with many nieces and nephews. Scott also leaves his faithful and beloved canine companion Blue.

Scott worked in the logging business most of his career. He also did stonework for many years. His latest hobby was woodworking. Scott loved the outdoors and going for walks with family, preferably in the woods.

Scott would like to give a very special thank you to Virginia Knowles and his daughter Ashley, for always being there and taking care of him during these very hard times.

A Time of Reflection of Scott's life will be held Friday, May 23, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM in the Brady & Levesque Funeral Home.
