Scott was born on August 28, 1974, in Canton, OH, to Delmas and Edith (Groah) Lanham. He graduated from Dalton High School in 1994 and spent much of his life working as a laborer.
Scott found joy in the simple things-especially fishing and spending time with his family. He cherished moments with his children and grandchildren, who brought him great happiness.
He is survived by his father, Delmas (Debbie) Lanham; his children, Justin McGonagle, Zach (Jada) McGonagle, James Lanham, Murel Lanham, Katrina Lanham, and Maddie Lanham; his beloved grandchildren, Zachary, Mayson, Skylar, Roman, and Montana; his sister, Jeanie (Richard) Skaggs; brother, Buster (Jamie) Lanham; and many nieces and nephews.
Scott was preceded in death by his mother, Edith Lanham; a grandson, Grayson; and his dear uncle, Terry Groah.
In keeping with Scott's wishes, no services will be held and cremation will take place.
