Scott Eric Larrison, age 60, a beacon of love and compassion, was born on March 13, 1965, in the vibrant town of Columbus, Indiana. He was a strong-willed man whose life was a tapestry woven with profound faith, unwavering dedication to his family, and an immense capacity for kindness. On May 18, 2025, Scott went to be with the Lord at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour, Indiana, surrounded by his beloved family.

A proud veteran, Scott served his country in the United States Army, embodying the values of duty and sacrifice. Following his military service, Scott channeled his generous spirit into his community. He devoted himself to Cornerstone Community Church, where he forged deep connections and cultivated a cherished church family, who were his second home and heart. He graduated from Columbus North High School in 1983 and was an employee of Nikkei MC Aluminum for over 33 years.

Scott's love for life was as boundless as the Indiana sky, evident in his passion for the outdoors. Whether riding his beloved motorcycle, affectionately named "Jade," or enjoying the serenity of hiking and camping, he embraced every moment with zeal. His spirit was perhaps best mirrored in his adventures alongside his loyal companion, "Duke", whose presence matched Scott’s love for the simple joys of life.

He was an individual who walked through life with a heart attuned to the struggles of others. His sensitivity toward the homeless, the hurting, and the lost showcased a soul deeply embedded in the teachings of Jesus. Scott reached out, extending warmth and compassion to those in need, his life a living testament to the maxim that to love is to truly live. Scott was instrumental in the forming of Outreach Ministry of Seymour where he served as Director of Ministry and Community Relations.

Those who remain to celebrate his legacy include his beloved wife of 20 years, Nichole "Nikki" Linn Larrison, of Seymour, Indiana. He leaves behind his cherished sons—Cody Larrison, Hunter Larrison and his wife Jessica, Ethan McCoy and his wife Becca, and Eric McCoy, each carrying forward the love and values instilled by their devoted father. Scott found great joy in his family, particularly in the moments shared with his mother, Joyce Fox Larrison, and his brothers—Tim Larrison and his wife Arin, Andy Larrison and his wife Crystal, Nathan Larrison and his wife Stacie—and his sister, Wendy Dattilo and her husband Angelo.

He was preceded in death by his father, Sherman Larrison.

As family and friends gather to honor this extraordinary life, Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 4:00 PM at Cornerstone Community Church, located at 1088 Sarasota Drive, Seymour, Indiana. Full military honors will be held.

Scott Eric Larrison’s life radiated love, faith, and benevolence—a legacy that will continue to inspire and uplift all who had the privilege of knowing him. In this tapestry of human experience, he leaves an indelible mark, reminding us of the power of compassion and the beauty of a life well-lived.
