Scott Miller

Scott M. Miller - Poet, Artist, Musician, Scholar (in that order) went home to be with Jesus on Friday, April 19, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was born November 16, 1947, in Akron, OH to the late Clifford O. and Leola J. (Costlow) Miller.
Scott was a loyal, devoted husband, and a selfless, gentle father. Enamored with the beauty all around him, he was fun, funny, joyful, intelligent and creative. All who knew him will remember his playful sense of humor and lighthearted approach to life. Though he was a trailblazing hippy wildflower who refused to sell out and stuck it to the man till his last day, Scott was a passionate follower of Jesus and never wavered in his robust and vital faith.
Scott is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Linda A. (Vargo) Miller; his children, James (Mabelle) Miller, Dan (Charlotte) Miller, Natalie (Alex Holcomb) Miller; grandchildren, Scott Miller, James Miller, Lana B. Miller, Jamie A. Miller and Gema J. Miller; brothers, Kirk (Susan) Miller and Todd Miller. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clifford & Leola Miller.
A Visitation and Memorial Service will be held for Scott on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at St. Luke's Church, 3810 Ridgewood Rd, Copley, OH 44321. Visitation begins at 12 noon, the Memorial Service will begin at 1:00pm, with reception immediately following.
