Scott A. Moore, 23, of Ravenna, OH, formerly of Garrettsville, OH, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2025. He was born on August 28, 2002, along with his twin brother, Michael, in Akron, OH to Michael Moore and Jeanetta (nee Guffey) Burton.

He was raised in Garrettsville and attended James A. Garfield High School. Scott went on to work as a shipping & receiving clerk at NOCO in Solon, OH. He was a jokester, always the one to make you laugh. Scott loved anything with an engine, including cars, motorcycles, and four wheelers. Scott also enjoyed being in nature, especially while hiking. He was a big-time animal lover, especially his labs, Walter and Wilson. Ever the movie guru, Scott would be excited to discuss upcoming releases, while quoting all the classics. Scott had a lust for life, and held a lot of passion, but his biggest love would be spending time with his family and friends.

Scott will forever be missed by his loving parents, Michael (Liz Jett) Moore and Jeanetta (Michael) Burton; twin brother, Michael (Morgan Thornton) Moore; sister, Kaitlyn (David Lacey) Parris; precious niece, Lynndy Brock; maternal grandmother, Sandy Laughlin; paternal grandparents, Kay Warren and Larry (Paula) Moore; uncles, Gary Queen and John (Jaclyn) McGurer; aunts, Amy Moore, Kelly (Sparky) Olson, Kim (Jimmy) Martin, April (Chris) White, as well as many other extended family members and dear, dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Michael Laughlin, and maternal aunt and uncle, Diana & Harvey McGurer.

Please join the family for a visitation Friday, September 12, 2025, 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231.
