Scott Olsen (Scotty) 61 of Randolph New Jersey passed away Tuesday April 16th after a long illness.
He is survived by beloved wife Debra, devoted father of Steven, Jeremy, Kevin and his wife Daniela and Grandson Dylan. His loving parents Barbara and Leonard, sister Dawn Holmes, his mother-in-law Fran Loiacono, sister in law and Brother in law Linda and David Bentley, and many Nieces and Nephews. Scott was predeceased by his father -in-law Carlo Loiacono and brother- in- law Scott Holmes.
Scott worked as a machinist all his life up to about 12 years ago when he became ill. His last job was at Service Metal Fabricating where he helped build the 911 Memorial. Scott engraved all the names of the people who died that day. He was very proud and honored to be a part of this tribute.
Scott loved his boys very much and was a very hands-on father as they grew up. As adults they would watch Dallas Cowboys, Yankees and Islanders games together.He was over the moon to become a grandfather 6 1/2 years ago to his grandson Dylan. They raced RCs and took over the living room with toys. They were inseparable and full of love for each other. Dylan will miss his (Pa) deeply.
Visiting will be held on Sunday April 21, 2024 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at Dangler Lewis & Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main St. in Boonton.
Funeral Service will be offered on Monday April 22, 2024, at 9:30 AM at the funeral home, interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Boonton.
