Scott Platts Obituary
Beloved husband of Edith Platts, Scott was born in Germantown, PA to the late Charles Edward Platts and Doris Schaffer Platts. Most recently employed as a project manager in Absecon NJ, Scott worked for many local electricians throughout his career.
More than anything, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He loved gardening, Wildwood and playing Dungeons & Dragons with his friends. He also had a love for cats, often taking in strays and helping to feed the neighborhood cats.
He is survived by his wife, Edith Camp Platts of Port Norris; his children, Michelle Godin (James) of PA, Matthew Camp of Port Norris and Melanie Tenowich (James) of Millville; Grandchildren, Patrick, Joey, Xaviar, Devon, Isabella, Aiden, Gage, Henry and Colton; and a great grandson, Little X. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Doris Platts and his daughter, Holly Platts.
A celebration of life will be held at his home on February 1, 1-4 p.m. Written condolences can be sent to the family through the funeral home website, www.padgettfuneralhomes.com.
