Scott Pless Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Snow Funeral Home - Saginaw on Oct. 1, 2025.
Scott J. Pless, Bridgeport, Michigan
Scott J. Pless, of Bridgeport, MI (formerly of Flushing, MI), passed away at his home Monday, September 15, 2025, following a brief, but complicated battle with cancer. His wife, Linda, was at his side. On June 17, 1959, Scott was born to Edward and Janice (Sanders) Pless. He grew up in St. Louis, MI along with his sister, Kim, and brother, Tim. After graduating from St. Louis High School, he earned a degree in graphic illustration from Ferris State University. He met and married Lynne (Krupp) in 1982 and together they welcomed a daughter, Amanda, and a son, Bryan. After many years married, Lynne passed away in 2014 after a long battle with cancer. Scott then met Linda (Donahue), whom he married August 19, 2017. He welcomed her children, Ryan, Shelby, and Kacy, as his own from the beginning. He enjoyed working on his 1965 Ford Mustang, home improvement projects, adding to his gun collection, and various hobbies, such as antiquing and wilderness crafting. He loved spending his summers by the pool and spoiling the dogs he and Linda shared (Paisley, Sadie, and Phoebe). On a beautiful day, he loved going for drives in the Mustang around Michigan. Until Summer 2024, he worked as a contracted graphic illustrator for General Motors, a career he enjoyed for over 40 years.
He is survived by his wife, Linda, his children, Amanda Sansing, Bryan and Olivia Pless, Ryan and Theresa Flatt, Shelby and Isaac Suggitt, and Kacy Vanderlooven; his grandchildren, Kayla Sansing, Ocean and Bishop Flatt, and Valerie Suggitt; his siblings, Kim and Fred Romero, and Tim and Deb Pless; along with many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, cousins who were like additional siblings, and many beloved lifelong friends. He leaves behind many beautiful memories and moments filled with laughter. Scott now rests peacefully. We imagine he is reuniting in eternal life with his parents, Ed and Jan; his first wife Lynne; his dogs, Brandy and Amber; many aunts, uncles, and friends.
Honoring Scott's wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the charity of your choice. Please share memories and condolences with the family at snowfuneralhome.net
