Scott E. Poquette, age 61, of Appleton, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 7, 2025. Scott was born in Neenah on May 7, 1964, to the late Clayton and Marylin (Moore) Poquette.
Scott spent much of his career behind the wheel as a dedicated truck driver for Lapham-Hickey in Oshkosh, where he earned the respect of coworkers for his reliability, good humor, and unmatched knowledge of the roads. He took pride in his work and rarely missed a day, even in the toughest weather.
A true collector at heart, Scott had a deep appreciation for the past and a sharp eye for hidden gems. He was a passionate collector who found joy in discovering forgotten items with character and history. From cigar boxes and old cans to dolls, vintage tools, and trinkets from thrift stores or flea markets, he saw value where others might not. His home and garage are like a living museum, a time capsule of the past, each piece a memory, a story, or a conversation waiting to happen.
He was the kind of neighbor who would stop what he was doing to help you fix whatever you needed. He had a natural ability to fix things and if he didn't know how, he'd certainly figure it out.
He will be missed by his two sons, Sebastian and Maddax Poquette, both of Appleton; his brother Joe (Virginia) Poquette of Amherst, NY; his sister Penny Poquette of Neenah; and his sister-in-law Jessie Poquette and nieces Tayler and Katie, the family of his late brother Chris Poquette.
He now joins his parents, Clayton and Marylin, and his brother, Chris, who passed before him.
There will be a gathering held at Good Company in Appleton on Sunday, August 3rd, from 1 pm to 4 pm.

Scotty,
We were young, loud, and fearless-you were the spark that lit half of our adventures and the reason we laughed till our lungs gave out. Grateful for every moment we didn´t take too seriously. Here´s to the chaos, the music, and the lifelong brotherhood forged in noise and friendship. You´ll be missed, thanks for the memories! Rest in peace, my friend.

I'm very saddened to hear about Scott. I went to school with him. I always remembered his Mohawk hair. He was such a guy. Sending prayers to his family.
