Scott Douglas Reynolds, 65, of Guthrie, Oklahoma, joined Jesus in the early hours of Friday, November 15, 2024. He was born November 22, 1958 to George D. and Evelyn Louise (Webb) Reynolds in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Scott was a fun and energetic kid who grew into a determined and strong willed man. He met and married Katie, the love of his life at the Mid Content News Company in 1975.
Scott did construction work until landing his career in sales at Cox Communications in the early 1980's. He was an avid salesman and truly loved his work.
In April of 1986, Scott and Katie welcomed their daughter, Shannon. Scott was an avid fisherman and loved to play guitar and sing with close friends. He truly loved his home with his acreage, pool, wildlife, and serenity. In the later years of his life, he owned and operated his own brush hogging and mowing business. He retired to enjoy peace, relaxation, and his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Mike Moore and Mitch Moore.
Scott is survived by his daughter, Shannon Slagle and husband, Jake of Edmond; his brother, Jeff Reynolds and wife, Belinda of Mustang, Oklahoma; and daughter, Adena Brooks and husband, Brett of Blanchard, Oklahoma; six grandchildren; and a myriad of other loved family and friends.
