Scott David Roth

Scott David Roth, age 63 of Oxford, beloved companion of Donna Dwyer Achille, with whom he resided, died August 3, 2025 at home following a sudden illness. Born in New Haven on September 9, 1961, he was the son of the late Dale Wynn and Barbara Ann Smith Roth. Scott was raised in Milford and was a graduate of Joseph A. Foran High School. He then graduated from Gateway Community College and attended Southern CT State University. Mr. Roth was employed as an equipment technician at Yale-New Haven Hospital for over 25 years, until his retirement in 2025. He was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed boating, fishing and kayaking. A classic car enthusiast, Scott was often found at area cruise nights and car shows. He was a passionate animal lover, caring for all wildlife to his own canine "fur-friends". In addition to his companion of many years, Donna Achille and her son, Roman Achille of Shelton; he is survived by a devoted brother, Michael D. Roth and his partner, Marilyn Hulse of Morris, CT as well as many cousins and friends. He was predeceased by a brother, Wayne D. Roth. Family and friends may attend a memorial visitation on Sunday, August 10, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia.
