Scott Arthur Scoggin

Scott Arthur Scoggin, age 59, of Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away on December 19, 2025. He was born on December 26, 1965, to Henry H. and Pamela Glynn Scoggin.
Scott had a deep love for the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, duck hunting, Native American history, and all kinds of outdoor sports. He was truly liked and loved by all who knew him. Scott never met a stranger and would help anyone in need, no matter the circumstance. If you enjoyed fishing, you were invited-especially to the family place. If you wanted to laugh, all you had to do was spend time talking with Scott.
Scott had a rare and generous heart. He showed love in a way few people ever do, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry H. and Pamela Glynn Scoggin.
Those left to cherish his memory include his fiancée, Mary Baldwin; his sister, Kerry Edwards; and his brothers, David Scoggin, Tracey Scoggin, Michael Scoggin, and Christopher Scoggin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in honor of Scott.
The family would also like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Willis-Knighton North Emergency Room for their care and compassion.
Scott will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who were blessed to know him.
