Scott Duston Shepard, of Dallas, Georgia, passed away on April 25, 2025. Scott was born to parents Walter Leroy Shepard and Virginia Duston on January 26, 1950. He was born into a military family and moved often.
After high school, Scott joined the Army and proudly served his country in Vietnam. He met and married Betty Marlin, and they had a daughter, Emily. For his adult life, Scott has been a long-time resident of Paulding County.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Todd Monroe Shepard; and his nephew, Barry Wixon, Jr.
Scott is survived by his loving wife, Betty Shepard; daughter, Emily Streeper (Nathan); and sisters, Amy Lynn Camp (Randy) and Marian Shepard (Octavia).
A memorial visitation will be held at West Cobb Funeral Home in Marietta, Georgia, on May 2, 2025, from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
