Scott D. Smrz
Of Plover passed away Friday morning, April 12, 2024 at his home. Age 61 Scott was born February 6, 1963 in Stevens Point.
He was the son of the late Eugene and Jeanette (Shopinski) Smrz. He attended local grade schools, graduating from Stevens Point Area Senior High (SPASH) in 1981.
His marriage to Lisa Likely took place on August 27, 1993 in Stevens Point. Scott worked for Domtar Papers in Nekoosa as a shift supervisor until his retirement two years ago.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Scott's name to the Portage County Humane Society would be appreciated.
In his free time Scott enjoyed going to Vegas and camping trips with his son Josh, football and going to numerous car races through out the state and was a gun enthusiast and enjoyed target practice.
Survivor include his wife Lisa, his son Josh, daughter Taylor and step daughter Jade Likely. Further survived by one brother Tom Smrz.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents and numerous aunts and uncles
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday April 17, 2024 at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 2911 Plover Road, Plover. Deacon Vern Linzmeier officiating. A Private family burial will take place at St. Michaels Parish Cemetery of Junction City at a later date. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM Wednesday morning at the Pisarski Funeral Home until the time of Services. The Pisarski Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family.
