Scott James Wanner, age 45, of Erie passed away unexpectedly on May 29, 2025. He was born in Erie on January 18, 1980, a son of Barbara Carol (Meadows) Wanner and the late David Gerard Wanner.
Scott received degrees in graphic design and studio recording. He was currently working for Norfolk Southern Railways.
He enjoyed graphic design, snowboarding and skateboarding.
Collecting hot wheels and shoes were some of his favorite hobbies. Scott and his wife were currently working on authoring and illustrating a book.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by by his wife Stephenie (Harcleroad) Wanner, children Ashton Holden (Samantha Lichniak), and Caitlyn Holden; grandchildren, Javonne Holden and Ameriah Lynn Holden, siblings, Debra Vaughn (Robert), David Wanner, Jr., Albert Wanner (Imelda), Michelle Loehrke (James) and Daniel Wanner. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, his dog Gracie and his cat June.
Friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 until the time of a service at 8 pm at the Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th Street. Burial will be private. Condolences may be left at www.bruggerfuneralhomes.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
