Scott Alan Williams, 62, of Winslow, passed away March 14, 2026 at his residence in Winslow. He was born November 8, 1963 to James Alan and Karen (Coleman) Williams in Dubuque, IA. After graduating high school Scott went on to work as a welder for many years. He loved spending time with his family and his favorite hobby was fishing.
Scott is survived by his sons, Zach Alan Williams and Stephen Williams; daughter, Kristen Tillison; grandchildren, Hadleigh, Kaitlynn, Aiden, and Maci; his mother, Karen (Coleman) Williams; brothers, Darrin (Kym) Williams and Craig (Karla) Williams; and a sister, Diane (Thom) Skalko.
He is preceded in death by his father, James Alan Williams.
Services for Scott will take place at 1 PM EST on Friday, March 20, at the Spurgeon Methodist Church in Spurgeon, IN with visitation from 11 AM EST until service time. Burial will follow at the Spurgeon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations please be made to the Spurgeon Methodist Church and may be mailed to 11700 St. Rd. 61, Spurgeon, IN 47584. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
