Scott H. Wilson, age 73, of Cranesville, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at his residence.
He was born in Erie, on January 5, 1952, a son of the late Charles A. and Mrytle Auer Wilson.
Scotty was a 1972 graduate of Northwestern High School in Albion and had worked as a heavy equipment operator for Network Company and Nelson Trushel for many years.
He loved people and was a friend to many. His hobbies included gardening, woodworking, and construction. He was always willing to help others or give you the shirt off his back.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter Emily and a sister, Sandy.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Diana Stuart Wilson; a son, Joshua Scott Wilson and his wife Christy of GA; a daughter, Kathryn Wilson of Cranesville; seven grandchildren: Samuel, Indra, Christopher, Clara, Janelle, Benjamin Scott and Olivia; a brother, Lynn Wilson and his wife Sharon of Saegertown; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St., Girard on Saturday May 31, 2025, from 10am until the time of service at 12noon with his cousin Wayne McCray officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Cranesville Fire Department, 9920 Meadville St. Cranesville, PA 16410.
