Sean Mathew Ayers died Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ. He was 21
Sean was born in Summit, NJ on September 13, 2000 a son to Karen G. (Coates) Ayers and Everett W. Ayers, Jr. He lived in Union, NJ before moving to Warren, NJ in 2006.
He went to Woodland Grammar School, Warren Middle School and Graduated from Watchung Hills Regional High School in 2019. He was a Junior at Rutgers University studying Computer Science. He loved athletics and played baseball, basketball and swam in his elementary school years. Track in middle school and competed in fencing in high school.
Sean was a great musician, playing the acoustic, electric, bass guitars and also the keyboard. He was also a creative song writer and played bass in a band called Objective Joyride. He also created video games with his friends. He loved to go longboarding and skateboarding.
He was pre-deceased by his grandparents, Florence and John Coates.
Sean is survived by his mother Karen G. (Coates) Ayers, his father Everett W. Ayers, Jr. his brother Everett W. Ayers III and his partner Colleen Benipayo and their children Emily, Sabastian and Valerie, his 3 sisters Noreen G. Ayers Levine and her husband Marc Levine with their children Jackson and McKenna, Christine M. Ayers and Julie A. Ayers. He is also survived by his 2 Aunts, Shirley Snyder and her husband Jerry and Nancy Longueil and her pre-deceased husband Jeff Longueil. His grandparents Everett W. Ayers Sr. and Janice Linderman.
His cat Roswell, who Sean loved and took exceptional care of. Catalya, the family cat and Felicia, Julies dog.
Visitation will be Sunday April 3, 2022 from 2-6 PM with words of remembrance at 5:00 PM. at the Valley Memorial Funeral Home 1012 Valley Rd., Gillette, NJ
Committal will be Monday, April 4, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Graceland Memorial Park 1900 Galoping Hill Rd., Kenilworth, NJ. For more information and online condolences visit valleymemorialfuneralhome.net
