Sean Patrick Finegan

Sean Patrick Finegan of Doylestown, Pennsylvania passed away on September 12th surrounded by his loving family. He was 42 years old. He was born October 3, 1982, in Doylestown and spent his life and career in the area.

Sean was a lifelong animal lover who was devoted to his rescue dogs. He was also an avid Philly sports fan, and his friends and family share fond memories of watching games with him both at the stadium and in the living room (with animated color commentary of course). He was a frequent contender and multiple-year champion of the highly competitive fantasy football tournament that has run for over a decade with the Finegans and close family friends the McCanns. In addition to being a beloved brother, he took his role as fun uncle very seriously, and his nieces and nephews were the delighted recipients of some of the most chaotic toys and games he could find, especially the loud ones.

Sean is survived by his parents, John and Michelle Finegan; four siblings, Colleen Carroll and her husband Michael, Morgan Murphy and her husband Michael, Cyrus Finegan, and Reilly Finegan; nieces and nephews Quinn Carroll, Caitlin Carroll, Mason Murphy, Miles Murphy, and Madelyn Murphy.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial service on Saturday, September 27th at the Joseph A. Fluehr Funeral Home, 241 E. Butler Avenue in New Britain, PA. Guests are welcome starting at 9:30AM with formal service beginning promptly at 10:30. A celebration of life and reception with the family will follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in Sean's name to the Home at Last Dog Rescue or the University of Pennsylvania Liver Transplant Center;
