Adrian Leary

Adrian Leary, 51, of Lansdale, PA, passed away peacefully at home on September 9th.

He is survived by his wife of more than 25 years, Kate (née McCarthy), and their three sons, Jack, Owen, and Brendan. He was the beloved son of Marybeth and Raymond Leary, and brother of Marcus Leary.

Born in Huntingdon Valley, PA in 1974, Adrian graduated from North Penn High School, earned a bachelor's degree in biology from James Madison University and a master's degree in ecology from Penn State. He devoted 17 years to the United States Army Corps of Engineers, most recently serving as Chief of Planning in the Philadelphia District, where his leadership and steady presence made a lasting impact.

Adrian was known for his loyalty and generosity - the kind of person who stayed close with friends from junior high while continually welcoming new ones along the way. He was always willing to help, whether coaching his sons' soccer teams, lending a hand in countless school plays and productions, or quietly donating blood every 56 days. An avid runner, Adrian picked up trash along the last mile of each run, turning his love of athletics into care for the community. He had a quick wit, a love of movie quotes, and a mischievous grin that let you know he was up to something.

Adrian also found joy in traveling, time in nature, and summer days at the shore in Sea Isle City, where he made some of his happiest memories.

Above all, Adrian was most proud of his marriage to Kate and the family they built together, who will carry his love forward.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewings on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 from 6:00 to 8:00PM in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Avenue (at Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, PA 18901 and again Thursday, September 18, 2025 from 9:30am until his tribute at 11:00AM.

Interment to be held privately and at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Manna on Main Street in Lansdale, an organization close to Adrian's heart.
