Sean was the consummate security guy the medical team would want to see coming down the hospital hallway or the emergency ward responding to a security event! Authoritative in a calming demeanor able to diffuse many complex confrontations in the years we worked at MGH.
He was a great friend over the years. Know that he cared for others over his own well being as well. Will miss.

Sean had a close friendship with our daughter Meredith and through her we were fortunate to meet this very special young man. WE are deeply saddened by this loss, but feel certain he will remain in the arms of the Lord until he meets his friends and loved ones once again!
Rest in peace kind and gentle man: Cami Lampert & Victor Pitzi

To Chris, and all Sean´s family and friends, condolences on the loss of a great guy. Sean and I were coworkers at MGH REVERE as police and security. All enjoyed working with Sean especially my uncle Robert who was Seans´ partner on their evening shift. Close your eyes and remember his smile, smirk and witty/sarcastic reply which was always apropos. At Ease my friend and go with God.

One of the funniest humans I´ve ever known. Sean could lock onto a single thing about you and tear you to shreds with one liners, always in a humorous way and you couldn´t help but laugh. A tough, tough guy that worked extremely hard. Always "squared away" as he would say. I think Sean invented the term "bud" and he was the definition of one to everyone close to him. And there was a soft side to him too. In recent years I would be in awe of his nature photography. He took some truly breathtaking photos. I remember one time telling him how talented he was and he simply replied "It´s just a hobby bud. Thanks. I really like it." I´ll miss you more than you could have possibly realized.....Bud.

Sean, I am so devastated with this news. You were always a ray of sunshine. You were kind, professional and friendly.
Chris, life won´t be the same without him but know how many hearts he touched.
M condolences to the McGrath family.
I am a nurse at MGH, fortunate to have worked with him both in Revere and Boston. I had the utmost respect for Sean. May he rest easy.
