It is with heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of Sebastian J. Shepherd who tragically lost his life in a car accident on May 19, 2025, at the age of 21. Sebastian was the son of James and Karly (Mines) Shepherd.
Sebastian graduated in 2023 from Abington Heights High School and went on to graduate from Johnson College with a focus on Electrical Contracting. Additionally he is still enrolled in HVAC Technologies and was expected to graduate next year.
A dedicated worker in the electrical contracting industry, Sebastian was employed by Flash Security Integrated.
Sebastian held a deep passion for music, particularly the guitar, which allowed him to express himself and connect with others in profound ways. His creativity and talent resonated with those around him, bringing joy to many.
He is survived, in addition to his loving parents, by his younger brother, Ethan Shepherd, maternal grandmother, Luz Vargas, aunts, Leslie Felix, Laurie Shepherd, Kim Shepherd and uncle, Joseph Shepherd.
The funeral will be on Thursday at 10am at Our Lady of the Snows Church, 331 S. State Street, Clarks Summit, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated. Interment to follow at Fairview Memorial Park. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 5-7pm at Jennings-Calvey Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 111 Colburn Avenue, Clarks Summit, PA 18411.
