Sebby J. Harrison, a homemaker, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2023 in Plymouth Township, Michigan at the age of 85. Sebby was born on February 17, 1938 in Spangler, Pennsylvania. She married Charles Harrison and they celebrated almost 50 years of marriage before Charles’s passing.
Sebby was well-known for her love for her children and family as well as her dedication and love for her church and Jesus. She lived a modest life dedicated to caring for her family and those around her. In her free time, Sebby loved going on cruises with her husband.
Sebby is survived by eight children: Charles Jr., Evelyn, Thomas (Pat), Adam (Tammie), Sharon (Terry), Daniel (Pamala), Ruth, and Mary (Pete). She was a proud grandmother of twenty grandchildren: Carrie Ann, Steven, Amanda, Rachel, Chad, Mark, Tim, Joe, Sara, Big Joe, Brandon, Corey, Sarah, Emily, Lily, Luke, Jessica, Brittany, Rebecca, and Dakoda Skye. In addition to being a loving grandmother these grandchildren have provided the gift of sixteen great-grandchildren.
Sebby was one of eight surviving siblings: Viola (Jack), Stanley (Marilyn), Lila, Theola, Blair (Daria), Don (Judy), and Barry (Margie).
Although she has left this world Sebby will always be remembered as someone who lived a life that exemplified what it means to be a wonderful mother and selfless friend to all those whom she met throughout her lifetime.
Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home on Friday, June 2, from 5pm to 8pm. An hour of visitation from 10am to 11am will be held prior to her funeral service at 11am on Saturday, June 3, at the funeral home.
