She was a native of Baldwin, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Beloved wife of the late Forrest Lewis, Sr. by first marriage and Rev. Haywood Custer by second marriage. Devoted mother of First Lady Linda (Rev. Frank, Sr.) Williams, and the late Forrest Lewis, Jr. and Vanessa Johnson. Loving grandmother of Rachelle Williams, Dr. Frank Williams, Jr., Nicole Williams, Danielle Wright, Ne’Kedra Lewis, Erica Lewis, Terri (Dillon) Scarber, Shannon Lewis, and the late Brock J. Williams and Michelle (Jerry) Williams Turner. Daughter of the late Wallace Wade and Celena Key Wade. Sister of the late Arthur Lofton, Emille Key, and Marjorie Keller. Godmother of the late Romona Lewis. Mother-in-law of Kim Lewis and Eric Johnson. Also cherishing her memories are 30 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, 3 godchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friend of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 1013 Robinson Avenue, Marrero, LA on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 12:00p.m. Rev. Frank Williams, Sr., host pastor; Rev. Keith Verett, St. Luke Baptist Church of Lafayette, LA, officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. until service time at the church.
