Serban Stanescu, 70, of Plattsburgh, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025 at his residence. He was born on February 19th, 1955, the son of Vasile Stanescu and Georgeta Popovici.
Serban was a very talented jewelry designer, a true New Yorker at heart and a passionate collector. He enjoyed speaking to people and sharing his stories and knowledge.
He is survived by his sister, Raluca Maria Stanescu; nephew, Sebastian; nieces, Ioana and her husband Oussama, Julie and husband Patrick; great nephews and nieces; Emily, Theo, Christian, Roxane, Zoe and Hana.
He is predeceased by his parents.
