Seth Allan Bago Bartley, 16, passed away unexpectedly on September 26, 2025, in Copperas Cove, Texas. Born on November 16, 2008, in El Paso, Seth was a bright, thoughtful, and kind-hearted young man who brought warmth and joy to everyone he met.
He is survived by his loving parents, Marianne Pettus and Eric Bartley, and his cherished sister, Katie Bartley. Seth shared a deep bond with his family, one filled with love, laughter, and mutual support.
A dedicated student at Copperas Cove High School, Seth was a candidate for the National Honor Society and known for his intelligence, curiosity, and willingness to help others. His love of learning was matched by a generous spirit and a quiet strength beyond his years.
Seth found joy in gaming, forming lasting friendships in the virtual worlds he explored. He also had a deep love for animals, especially his Red-Tailed Boa, Silco, and his cat, Minion, who brought him comfort and companionship.
Those who knew Seth will remember him for his sincerity, his gentle heart, and his ability to connect with others in a meaningful way. As Helen Keller once said, “The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched—they must be felt with the heart.” Seth lived this truth every day.
He was very sweet and loving young man. He never failed to tell you how much he adored and loved you; not to forget his love for Raising Canes, no matter what the occasion.
Though his time with us was far too short, Seth’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
