Seth Hale, 45, of rural Columbus, Kansas passed away at his home, Saturday, February 1, 2025. He was born July 26, 1979, to Jesse and Dorane (Woods) Hale in Baxter Springs, Kansas.
Seth graduated from Columbus High School in 1997. He worked at Claythorn's Lodge as a hunting guide in high school and helped his dad on the farm doing many things. Seth was an avid hunter and fisherman.
One could find Seth spending his time cutting up with friends and family. He could work a PlayStation controller (tongue Master) like no other. Seth was a friend to many people and loved by many. He was a dedicated follower of our Lord Jesus Christ and a member of Keelville Pentecostal Church near Melrose Kansas.
Seth is survived by his Mother, Dorane Hale of Rural Columbus, KS; Sister, Jill Lawellin and nephews; Zach, (wife Alexis and kids), Jared, (wife Heidi and kids), Jackson Lawellin of Chetopa, KS; Brother, Chad Hale and wife Becky Hale of Pittsburg, KS; niece, Christin Rakestraw; nephew Logan Rakestraw of Pittsburg, KS; Cindy Woods and niece Harmony Woods of Lawrence, KS and many aunts/uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jesse Hale, uncles; Bill Woods and Larry Hale, Grandparents; Rufus and Dorthy Hale and Dorthy Cilley and Joe Woods.
The funeral will be Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 2 :00 p.m. at the Keelville Pentecostal Church, 10019 SW 50th St, Baxter Springs, KS, 66713. Visitation will be the hour prior to the service.
Memorials are suggested to Save The Children. Memorials may be left at or mailed to Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 374, Parsons, KS 67357.
