Seth A. McClymonds

1952 - 2025

Seth A. McClymonds, 73, of Saegertown, passed away Sunday, Dec. 21, 2025, in his residence.
He was born July 7, 1952, in Ellwood City, and was the son of George R. and Gladys (Huffman) McClymonds.
He was a 1970 graduate of Slippery Rock High School and on Sept. 15, 1972, Seth married the former Alice Braymer.
Seth was a loving husband and father whose occupation and passion was truck driving and traveling. His last years of work were dispatching for McClymonds Supply and Transit. He volunteered for Portersville Muddy Creek Township VFD before moving to Saegertown.
He was affiliated with Pine Grove Grace Church.
In addition to his wife of 53 years, he is survived by two sons, Seth McClymonds Jr. and his wife, Beth, of Sarver, Andrew McClymonds and his wife, Jennifer, of Saegertown; two daughters, Renee Parks and her, husband, Clint, of Louisville, Ky., Lori Firster and her husband, Mark, of Sadieville, KY; four brothers, Kenneth McClymonds and his wife, Pauline, of Phoenix, Ariz., Terry McClymonds of Prospect, Roy McClymonds and his wife, Susan, of Elk Grove, Calif., and Mark McClymonds and his wife, Janet, of Portersville; one sister, Juanita McClymonds of Rock Hill, S.C.; 16 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Joyce.
MCCLYMONDS - Family and friends of Seth A. McClymonds, who died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2025, will be received from 2 p.m. until the time of service at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, in Blooming Valley United Methodist Church, 24740 State St., Meadville, Pa.
A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, in the church with Seth McClymonds, pastor of Zion Methodist Community Church, officiating.
Burial will be private in Blooming Valley Cemetery, Saegertown.
Arrangements have been entrusted to ROSE AND WAID FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville.
