Seth Paul Xavier Porter, age 29, of Louisville, was welcomed into the arms of his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, July 9, 2025. Born on April 6, 1996, in Huntington, West Virginia, Seth lived a life full of love, laughter, and faith. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend, and a cherished member of Believers Church.

Those who were blessed to know Seth will always remember his kind heart, his unwavering faith, and the joy he brought into every room. He loved spending time with his family and had a deep passion for bow hunting, which brought him great peace and joy. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Olivia Porter, and their treasured son, Jack Sterling, who was the light of his life. He is also survived by his loving parents, Candice and Phil Porter; his grandmother, Dorcas Griggs; his brother, Gentry Porter and his sister, Makenzie (Dustin) Spencer; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Angela and Virgil Phelps; his brother-in-law, Zac (Jamie) Phelps; and many other family members and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
A celebration of Seth's life will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 7:00 pm at the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd).
