Shailee Bachar Obituary

Shailee was a gift to all who had the privilege of knowing him. His smile, his laughter-he carried the purest of souls. He found joy in the simple things: savoring his favorite snacks, swinging at the park, running freely, and watching videos on his iPad.
A straight-A student, Shailee excelled academically and was the proud recipient of numerous awards, including medals from the Special Olympics. He was also the first recipient of the Virginia Beach ABA Therapy Sponsored Program, a testament to his strength and determination.
Shailee is survived by his loving parents, Natasha Smith and Guy Bachar; his stepparents Blake and Hellen, siblings Joshua, Nathaniel, Athan and Benjamin; along with a host of devoted family members, caretakers and friends who cherished him deeply.
A graveside service to honor Shailee's life will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at 11:00 AM.

I am so sorry for your loss. I was one of his teacher assistants at Salem and he was so kind and liked to learn. He will be missed.
