Shalonda is survived by her husband of 32 years, Charles Smith Jr.; their six children: Charles III, Christopher, Cameron, Shamaya, Shemar, and Shaylise; her siblings Raymond Freeman Jr. (Starr), Courtney Freeman (Jerri), and Kim Ceesay (Madi); her mother-in-law Belinda Smith; her Aunts and Uncles, Rosa Hagan (Herbert), Fred Chandler, Jacqueline Neal (David), and many beloved nieces and, nephews, and extended family members.
She will be remembered as a devoted wife, a loving mother, a loyal sister, a sassy auntie, and a reliable friend whose strength and grace inspired everyone around her. Though her health battles were many, Shalonda's life was defined not by illness but by love, laughter, and resilience.
