On Friday, May 16, 2025, our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Shana Marie Savage Tackett was welcomed into the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born on June 22, 1979, and grew up in Worthington, Ohio with her loving parents Jack Savage and Beverly (Opper) Savage, and her four siblings.

Shana attended Worthington Kilbourne High School, class of 1997. With an interest in art and creativity she attended Ohio State School of Cosmetology graduating in 2003. After college, she worked as a hair stylist for Charles Penzone, and eventually worked on her own as an independent stylist. She was a talented hair stylist and loved making those around her beautiful while making everlasting friendships.

Shana was a devoted wife and mother. She is survived by her loving husband, Scott Tackett of 21 years; daughter: Alexis (Lexi) Tackett; stepson: Jack Tackett; mother: Beverly (Opper) Savage; siblings: Robert (Erin) Biehl, Sandra (Jerry) Ulibarri, Melissa (Andrew) Mitrey, & Cyndi Copper (Jeremy) Vanmeter; her grandmother: Martha Price Savage; as well as a multitude of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father: Jack Savage; her mother-in-law: Belinda Conkright Tackett; her father-in-law: Roger Tackett; and brother in law: Brian Tackett.

Shana was full of love and will be deeply missed by both family and friends. She adored her husband Scott and daughter, Lexi, and they had an inseparable bond. Walking into Shana's home clearly showed how important her family and friends were to her. Pictures of all of her loved ones wallpaper the walls.

Throughout her life, Shana used her creativity to bring joy and support to those around her. The neighborhood kids were especially fond of visiting her. She often organized fun games and outdoor painting sessions. She loved to make everyone feel special on their birthday, creating magnificent poster boards celebrating their birthday each and every year. She would often be found drawing and painting beautiful pieces of art. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, feeding the birds and animals and taking care of her sunflowers. There wasn’t an animal or creature that she didn’t love.

Shana had a deep relationship with the Lord. Reading her bible was a core part of her every day. This is evident with the many pages in her bible that are covered in her notes and writings. These notes were her devotion to God and the guidelines for how she lived her life.

The family will receive friends for Visitation on Monday, June 2, 2025, from 4:00- 6:00 pm with a Memorial Service at 6:00 pm, at Shaw Davis Funeral Home, 4341 North High St, Columbus, OH 43214.
