Aaron Lee Pound

Aaron L. Pound 42, of Delaware, Ohio, Friday, September 19, 2025, he passed away peacefully after a hard fought battle with cancer. He was born on November 25, 1982, to David and Debra Pound in Columbus, Ohio. He was a 2001 graduate of Worthington Kilbourne High School where he was an avid swimmer and water polo player. He then graduated from Ashland University in 2006. He was a member of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity while attending Ashland. He was a dedicated and passionate P. E. teacher as well as working with Special Education students at Slate Hill Elementary for 14 years. He married Jacqueline Wilson Pound on July 21, 2012 in Geneva, New York. He was a member of the Liberty Township Sportsman Club and also the Lunker Golf League at Mill Creek Golf course. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Wilson Pound, parents Dave and Debbie Pound, mother-in-law and father-in-law Don and Karen Wilson, brother-in-law and wife Tim and Caitlin Wilson, nephews Henry and Arthur Wilson, aunt Susan Pound, aunt and uncle Mark and Marsha Burleson, great niece Zoey Burleson and great nephew Ethan Burleson. He was preceded in death by grandparents, aunts/uncles and cousins. Visitation hours will be held at Rutherford Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High Street, Worthington, Ohio, on Friday, September 26, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Northwest Chapel, 6700 Rings Road, Dublin, Ohio, and burial will be following the funeral at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, E.
