Shanalee Rose Mullins Couch

Shanalee Rose (Mullins) Couch, 38, of Carrabelle, Florida, went to be with her Lord too early on February 23rd, 2023, at the home of her grandparents and mother in Tazewell, Tennessee, where she had been staying since December 2022. Her greatest joy in life was being called Mommy by her two girls. She loved them so very much, Asthey both loved her as well. Shanalee had so many friends and so many others that she had never even met face-to-face, but had impacted their lives in a way that only she could; all because she was kind, loving and caring, and a friend for life. She lit up rooms when she walked in, found joy in every small child she met, and touched many peoples' lives along her short earthly journey. Shanalee was preceded in death by her father, Ben Mullins Jr. of Tazewell, Tennessee; and paternal grandparents, Ben Sr. and Ruth Mullins of Tazewell, Tennessee. Shanalee is survived by her daughters, Kylie (Riley) Mullins of Farmington, Missouri and Layla Couch of Tallahassee, Florida; mother, Donna (Hurst) Mullins of Tazewell, Tennessee; brothers, BJ (Nicole) Mullins, III of Carrabelle, Florida and Zach (Savanna) Mullins of Tazewell, Tennessee; and sisters, Michelle Kitts of Greenville, Tennessee and Anika (Matt) Smith of Greenville, Tennessee; maternal grandparents, Howard and Mildred (Mickey Messer) Hurst; and a host of loving aunts and uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

Shanalee's family will receive family and friends on Monday, February 27th, 2023, between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. with funeral services to follow at Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home in New Tazewell, Tennessee
