Mr. Craig Allen Smith, Jr., age 33 of Knoxville passed away February 5, 2026. He was born on February 16, 1992, in Knoxville Tn. Craig was a member of the Sugar Grove Baptist Church. He was a truck driver and avid fisherman. Craig also enjoyed hiking with his dogs.
Craig was preceded in death by his grandparents James Martin, Bill Skellinger, William Ervin and Joyce Ervin.
He is survived by his father Craig Smith and stepmother Pam Smith, his mother Missy Swanson and fiance` Cecilia Marsh. Sisters: Allison Smith, Heather Thomas, and Alexis Thomas, brothers: Jonathan Sharp and Clayton Thomas. Grandparents Carol Martin, Peggy Skellinger and Carl smith as well as several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Monday February 9, 2026, from 6pm till 8pm in the Claiborne ~ Overholt Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will follow on Tuesday February 10, 2026, at 11am in the Claiborne~ Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kendall Walker officiating. Burial will follow the funeral in Leabow Cemetery, Leabow Hollow Rd. Tazewell.
Pallbearers: Dan Bowman, Jonathan Sharp, Clayton Thomas, Steve Smith, Stacy Crawford and Jessie Cupp.
