Shane Michael Kennedy, 34, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025. He was born on January 14, 1991, in Monroeville, PA, to John Michael Kennedy and Monica Joann Renn.

Shane attended Franklin Regional Senior High School in Murrysville, Pennsylvania. Over the years, he made his home in Delmont and Export, PA, later relocating to Shelbyville, KY, before settling in Louisville, KY. He worked as a mechanic with Louisville Chrysler Dodge Jeep, a role that reflected his skill and dedication.

Outside of work, Shane had a big heart and found joy in life's simple but meaningful moments. He loved the freedom of the open road on his motorcycle, the quiet peace of fishing (even though he hardly caught a thing), the comfort of gathering around a campfire, and the fun of days spent at the shooting range. His laughter, kindness, and adventurous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Shane is survived by his greatest pride and joy, his beloved daughter, Isabella Kennedy, who brought light and love into his life. He is also survived by his longtime friend and honorary brother, Cody Hayes, and his faithful companion, his sweet cat, Juno.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Saffell House Funeral Home with a graveside service immediately following at Bagdad Cemetery at 2 p.m..

Pallbearers will be Cody Hayes, Henry Griffith, Jason Frye, Terry Hayes, Teagan McKnight and Tim Cleary.

Saffell House Funeral Home is proud to handle the arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family at [email protected]
