Adam Scott Goins

Adam Scott Goins, 38, of Louisville, KY, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025. He was born on January 3, 1987, in Frankfort, KY, the son of Hugh Suddith Goins, Jr. and Mary Ann Hollon Goins.

Adam grew up in Frankfort and was a proud graduate of Franklin County High School. He later attended Kentucky State University, where he continued his education. Known for his strong work ethic and dedication to both his job and his family, Adam was someone who could always be counted on.

He found joy in the outdoors, whether fishing, camping, or simply spending time in nature. A true UK basketball fan, Adam also enjoyed watching Naruto in his downtime.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hugh Goins, Jr..

Adam is lovingly remembered by his mother, Mary Goins; his wife, Amanda Hope Strong Goins; daughters, Gracie Jean Goins, Audrey Sue Goins, and Lori Jane Fitzgerald; sons, Adam Scott Goins, Jr., Sean Patrick Fitzgerald, and James Lee Fitzgerald; uncles, George Jackson Hollon, Jr. and Robert Lee Hollon; and his aunts, Wanda Jean Malais and Ann Louise Goins.

In keeping with Adam's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at North Fork Baptist Church with Brother Jay Stratton officiating.
