Shane T. Lettau

On Monday, October 27, 2025, Shane T. Lettau, of Appleton, the youngest of our three beloved sons, began a new and eternal life with his creator God and his savior Jesus Christ.
Having been with us for a short time (50 years), his to-do list was still quite lengthy. Primary on the list was a dream home on land north of town. This was to be shared with Macy, who I believe to be the love of his life. The two were inseparable. They loved hunting, fishing, motorcycle riding and so much more and just being together. I'd be remiss if I don't mention a beloved four-legged 10-year-old silver lab named Yami.
Our outgoing and personable son is survived by his parents, Tim and Diane Lettau, brother Jason (Rhonda), Heath (Jenny), niece (Mikayla/Calleb) Zyduck, nephews (Mason/Jasmine) Lettau and Tyler Lettau. He is also survived by many other nephews, nieces and aunts and uncles. He is also survived by soulmate Macy Havlik, Yami (his dog), and so many friends and co-workers.
As someone once had written: The hardest goodbyes are when the book is closed forever and the story is not over.
May our good and gracious Lord be your Father now and His home be the home of your dreams.

A memorial service will take place at 11 am on Saturday, November 15, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 222 E. Fremont St. Appleton, with Father John Kleinschmidt officiating. Friends may visit at the church on Saturday from 9 am until 10:45 am. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
