Marshall "Shane" McGill August 25, 1974 – November 20, 2025
Shane McGill departed this life on November 20, 2025. Born Marshall Shane McGill on August 25, 1974, in Corpus Christi, Texas, Shane was the beloved only child of Mary Maxine Davis. He attended Pearland High School and spent the majority of his life in Corpus Christi, where he worked as an environmental technician.
Shane was known for his distinctive sense of style and his love for his grandbabies, his parrots, and music-particularly the Beatles.
Throughout his life, he pursued a wide variety of interests, including vintage facial-hair styling, lettering, fishing, camping, golfing, kickboxing, swimming, geocaching, CrossFit, and photography. He also enjoyed collecting watches, tattoos, and Chive coins. Shane approached each passion with enthusiasm and creativity.
A kind and loving partner, son, father, stepfather, and grandude, Shane is survived by his wife, Kelsey Alysia Holmes McGill; his children, Dylan Shane Edwin McGill and Breana Riane "Sissy" Subia, Chloe Elena Valdez and Leyla Kae Valdez; and his grandchildren, Liam Jude Subia, Lucas Jean Subia, and Emilie Dylan McGill. He is also survived by his mother, Mary Maxine Davis Bell; and his siblings, Jarrett Aaron McGill and Amanda Crystal McGill. Shane was preceded in death by his stepfather Ronnie Dean Bell.
Shane will be remembered for his gentle heart, his vibrant spirit, and the love he shared with his family and friends.
