Shane Keith McMath, 50, of Siler City, died Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at his home.
Shane was born in Alamance County on April 3, 1975, to Gordon Keith and Faye Hudson McMath. He was a 1993 graduate of Jordan Mathews High School and a 1995 graduate of Central Carolina Community college, where he received a degree in Auto Mechanics. Shane loved to be outside, where he could be found working on cars, doing yard work, or woodworking. He was on the Skeet shooting team in high school and continued to enjoy target practice throughout his life. Shane was a member of Hickory Mountain Baptist Church since 1984. He enjoyed listening to Christian Music on 99.5 Joy FM. Most of all he loved his family.
Shane is survived by his children, George William McMath and girlfriend Harley, Sarah Faye McMath and fiancé Noah Snyder and Cassidy L. Clardy; his mother, Faye Hudson McMath; and the mother of his children, Crystal D. McMath.
Shane was preceded in death by his father, G. Keith McMath and four brothers.
A visitation will be held Sunday, May 4, 2025, from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at Hickory Mountain Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Steve Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
