Shane Olson Obituary
Shane Bruce Olson, 54, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at Essentia Health Hospital, Fargo, ND.
Shane was born on May 13, 1969, to Bruce and Sandra (Langager) Olson in Coon Rapids, MN. His family moved to Moorhead, MN, when he was a young child. He attended and graduated from Moorhead High School and lived in Moorhead for the rest of his life. He had a passion for working on cars.
Shane is survived by his children, Joshua Olson and Danielle (Chase Golliet) Johnson; grandchildren, Kashlyn and Kallie-Ann Olson, Makayla and Emma Salo; and Brantley Johnson; siblings, Jason (Jerrie) Olson, Jessica Arenal, and Jeremy Olson; and many other loving relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Athena Olson; parents, Bruce and Sandra; and grandpa, Simon Langager.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead, MN, at 1:00 P.M.
A celebration of Shane's life will be held on Friday, September 22, 2023, at Best Western Plus Kelly Inn & Suites, Fargo, ND, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
