Shannon Stephon Davis was born June 3, 1979 and transitioned from this earth July 16, 2022. He attended Independence High School.
Shannon loved all sports and excelled in football, basketball and baseball. He was an avid bowler who bowled in several leagues and tournaments. Shannon's proudest bowling achievement was his perfect 300 game!
Shannon will be sadly missed for his charismatic personality and mischievous smile that would light up any room he was in. He was a fun-loving guy who has left behind many family members and friends who loved him deeply. We will always love and remember him.
Shannon now rests with his father, Ronald W. Hill; grandmother, Mildred Davis; great-grandparents, Mollie and Jerry Davis, Sr.
Shannon is survived by his loving mother, Peggy Davis-Brown; Aunt, Yvonne Hudson; Great Aunt, G. Jean Davis; Godmother, Laverne Cunningham; special cousins Paulette Kelly and Pamela Hill; numerous cousins, extended family, and special friends.

Man Shannon Davis was my man.......I first met Shannon in 1993 in 8th grade at Southmoor Middle school and we on to Independence High School together. When I got this news I was, of course, sad for a moment. I then thought about the times he spent with our family and the fun times we shared. He wasn't in our lives for a long time but long enough to make an impact. He really loved my granddaughter who was visiting from GA. He took us all to the circus and we had a really good time, especially her.
He often comes across my TV when the pictures come up smiling with my daughter. I know he will be missed by all that know him and I offer my condolences to his mother and family. May he forever Rest in Paradise.

I glad to have been around you in multiple stages throughout our lives. From high-school hooping, hooping as adults and bowling because we can't hoop the same way we used too :). Always a great guy to be around. You will be missed my prayers are with you Mrs. Peggy.
