She was born in Dekalb, Georgia on January 10, 1987. Shannon graduated from Faith Academy in Buford, GA with honors. She is survived by her mother, Colleen Olmstead, her two children, daughter Adele Olmstead and son Walter Munn as well as her sister, Megan Olmstead (husband Kevin Huey).
Shannon's humor sparkled and her wit shined. Though her stature was petite her presence was giant. Games of hide and seek, Trivial Pursuit, or Super Mario Bros were always more fun with Shannon around. Her wit was as sharp as her tongue, but we always felt her love. She met hardship with grit and resilience. Her passion will not be forgotten.
Memorial services to be held at Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford Georgia. Visitation is Friday, June 21 from 5:00-8:00pm. Memorial service is Saturday, June 22 at 4:00pm.
