Shannon "Pooh" Stover was born in Muncie, Indiana on February 14th, 1971, and sadly passed away on January 14th, 2024.
She moved around a lot as a child but settled in Norman, Oklahoma, with her daughter in 2022. She loved to cook for her family, and her family sure loved for her to cook for them. She was an amazing mother to her children, William and Whitney. When she was home you could guarantee she was jamming out to music. Prince and almost anything from the 80s was her absolute favorite. She was very creative and loved to paint. She loved her pets so much and they loved her: Harley, the dog; and Lydia and Benjamin, the cats.
Beautiful Shannon is survived by her loving daughter and best friend, Whitney Stover; her husband, Garry Bennett; her parents, Essie and Rick Laudermilt; her brother Luther Laudermilt and sister Lynnette Massey; and many nieces including Morgan Cusack, Coriander Shown, Sarah Wilbourn, and who she called her sweet girl, Brooklynn Cusack. Shannon had so many who loved her, and she will never, ever be forgotten.
She was preceded in death by her loving son and best friend, William Stover, who sadly passed way too early. She was known by everyone for being extremely friendly and she will be loved and missed forever.
There will be no service for Shannon Stover.
Services are under the direction of Scott and Angel Wilbourn of Wilbourn Family Funeral Home in Lindsay, Oklahoma. Condolences may be made to the family online at www.wilbournfamilyfuneralhome.com
