Sharline Griffin

Sharline Griffin of Warminster PA, passed away suddenly on September 21, 2025 at Abington Hospital surrounded by her loving family at the age of 91. Beloved and devoted wife of the late Joseph Griffin.

Sharline was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Charles and Nellie Oehrle (McCafferty). She grew up in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia and attended Brown Elementary and Lincoln High School.

She is survived by her loving children Joseph Griffin (Mary Lavnga), Kathleen Lynn (Raymond), Christine Katrichis (Jerome) and Donna Piotrowicz (Ted). Proud grandmother of Luke Piotrowicz, Katharine Katrichis and Matthew Piotrowicz.

Sharline was the happiest when she was with family. She raised four children and was an amazing mother, wife, grandmother and homemaker. Even through tough times she always made sure our birthdays and holidays were so special. She loved activities and was an avid bowler into her late 80's. Sharline took up golf in her 50's and loved playing with her husband and daughters.

After her husband Joseph died in 2008 she moved to Ann's Choice the following year. At Ann's Choice she filled her days with old and new friends, dinners, bowling and endless games of cards. She never wanted to be a burden to her family and maintained her independence until her final days. She was the center of our family and is leaving a space that will never be filled. We will love and miss her until we meet again.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, September 29th from 10:00 am until her funeral mass at 11:00 am at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church, 1325 Upper State Road, North Wales, PA, 19454. St. Interment to follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont, PA.
