Sharon Adams Greenwood Obituary
Mrs. Sharon Lynn Adams Greenwood, 70, of Mount Airy, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, September 7, 2024, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. She was born December 23, 1953, in Surry County, to the late Roy and Loraine Gravely Adams. Sharon retired from the textile industry. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Danny Greenwood; her nephew, Timothy Greenwood; her great-niece, Keely Greenwood; and her best friend, Deborah Hunt. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Greenwood was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Greenwood; her son, Brian Greenwood; her brother, Larry Adams; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roy and Mary Greenwood. A celebration of life service for Charles and Sharon will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Fancy Gap Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dwight Sechrist officiating. No formal visitation will be held. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
