Sharon Ann Adams, of Wellington, Kansas, passed away at her home on Friday, March 28, 2025 at the age of 69.
Sharon was born the daughter of John H. F. and Rosetta (Antonini) Adams on July 6, 1955 in Canton, Ohio.
Sharon was a beacon of warmth, kindness, and humility. Known for her tenacity and resilience, she made her mark as a dedicated legal assistant and later, a beloved school bus driver. Her passion for children was evident in her work as a classroom parent and her many years driving a school bus, earning her the endearing nickname "Spider." She channeled her love of bowling and baseball into lifelong hobbies, always maintaining a competitive spirit. Sharon's homemade chicken and dumplings was a testament to her culinary prowess, and her gatherings were cherished by all who were lucky enough to attend.
Sharon, through her actions and love, made people feel cherished and valued. She spent her vibrant life dedicated to her family and making a difference in the lives of others, particularly children. She was a loyal fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and Ohio State Buckeyes, a loving mother, grandmother, and a dear friend to many. What mattered most to Sharon were her children and grandchildren. She attended every event, celebrated every achievement, and was a constant pillar of support for them.
She is survived by her children: Amanda McCreary; Rebecca Price; Matthew McCreary; grandchildren: Devyn (Breanna) Elkins; Syvanah (Cooper) Bristor; Blake McCeary; Lucas Cook; Landyn Price; Kameron Price; Emma Price; Ariana Price; Addysyn McCreary; great grandchildren: Espyn Bristor; Myelin Bristor; Cleo Elkins; Stormi McCreary; siblings, Sue (Bill) Egner; Nancy (Joe) Summers; John H. F. (Tracy) Adams Jr.; nieces, Christy Hawley; Orianna Adams; and nephew, John H. F. Adams lll.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John H. F. and Rosetta Adams Sr..
A celebration of Sharon's life will take place at a later date, details of which will be shared with friends and family.
