Sharon Baumgartner Obituary
Hospice House. She was born December 23, 1947 in Louisville, Kentucky to Tom and Carletta
Jones.
Susie graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor's Degree in Library Sciences in
1970. She went on to earn her Master's Degree in 1971. Susie met her husband, Frederick
"Rick" Baumgartner while at IU. They celebrated 50 years of marriage this past June. She
worked for the Marion County Public Library system for many years and retired in 2014. Rick
and Susie were devoted and active members of their church, Vineyard Community Church. She
enjoyed reading, spending time with her family, and watching sports.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by son Scott Baumgartner; daughter, Jessica
(Baumgartner) Fulmer and her husband Mike Fulmer, along with their sons Kaelan, Max, and
Blake Fulmer.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Vineyard Community Church at Mount
Comfort, 1672 N 600 W, Greenfield, IN 46140, on Saturday, January 15th. There will be a time
of visitation at 3:00 followed by a service at 4:00. Those who wish to honor Susie's memory
with a donation may do so to the Humane Society of Indianapolis or The American Cancer
Society.
