Memorial Service 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Conway Springs Methodist Church, 411 S. 8th St., Conway Springs, Kansas. Inurnment in Conway Springs Cemetery, Second Addition.
Sharon was born August 23, 1957 at Wellington, Kansas to Jacob and Vera (Choice) Blumenshine. She grew up in Clearwater where she attended Clearwater public schools. She graduated from Clearwater High School with the class of 1975. She began working as a cook at the Mustard Seed.
In 1985, Sharon moved to Wellington where she worked at Love's Country Store eventually becoming the store manager. She moved to Topeka in 1997 and began a 25-year career at Wal-Mart in the Deli Department. In 2018, she moved to Conway Springs and worked at the Wellington Wal-Mart until her retirement in 2024.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by one sister Diana Salsbery of Conway Springs, Kansas; three nieces: Rachel Salsbery of Topeka, Kansas, Sarah and Megan Salsbery both of Conway Springs, Kansas and a number of other relatives and friends.
Memorials have been established to the Conway Springs City Library or the American Cancer Society.
