Sharon Botsford Obituary
Born on March 9, 1942, in Medina, NY, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Evelyn (Litchfield) Quintern. Sharon graduated from Lyndonville High School in 1960 and worked at the Meat Counter for the former Bells Supermarket, where she met and married the late Chalmers Botsford. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Medina and enjoyed reading, bingo, and Hallmark movies.
Sharon is survived by eight children, Richard Botsford, Barb (Greg) Stanton, Timothy (Tracy) Botsford, Valerie (Scott) Woltermen, Robert (Brenda) VanAuker, Sara (James) Kyle, Chris (Becky) Botsford, and Melissa (Jason) Botsford-Weinblatt. Also surviving are nineteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, a sister, Patricia (Mark) Wurl, two sisters-in-law, Jean Susser and Christine Brown, and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, Sharon was predeceased by a brother, Ronald Quintern, and a son, James VanAuker.
Relatives and friends may call from 11 AM- 12 PM on Saturday, January 17th, at the Lyndonville United Methodist Church, 104 N. Main St., Lyndonville. NY 14098, where a funeral service will be held at 12 Noon. Burial will be private for the family.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at the Willows, Hospice of Orleans and Crossroads House of Batavia.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Sharon's name to Hospice of Orleans, 14080 NY-31, Albion, NY 14411 or to Crossroads House, 11 Liberty St., Batavia, NY, 14020.
